Happy National Tequila Day! Over the years, somehow I’ve missed the fact that July 24th has been designated as the day to celebrate tequila. Oh, the horror! However, this year I’m on it….by bringing you a delightful Blueberry Sriracha Margarita.
Some of you may be turning up your noses at adding sriracha sauce to your beloved margarita…but, hey, don’t knock it ’til you try it.
It’s cool, yet spicy…fruity, yet sassy…blue, yet red. Heck, it’s just lip-smacking good. Plus, it’s made with tequila, which I’ve been told contains probiotics and lowers bad cholesterol. Who knew?
Today is not just any day…but the very BEST day…to give this sassy cocktail a whirl. Unfurl your nose and dust off the sriracha bottle gathering dust in the back of your pantry.
Blend up some blueberries and limeade, then give that sriracha bottle a shake or two. Rim a glass with salt, and stir in that tequila. It couldn’t be easier, but the results are amazing. In less than 5 minutes, you’ll be sipping on a drink you’ll never forget.
You know you want to give this margarita a chance. 🙂Print
