1 - To make cherry chocolate cobbler in an air fryer, arrange 4 ramekins in the bottom of an air fryer basket. Only 3 heart shaped ramekins (ad) fit inside, but 4 round ones should fit in most models.

3 - Top cherries with candy bar pieces or 1 cup chocolate chips divided in fourths.

4 - Add a couple of tablespoons of dry Devil's food cake mix on top of each ramekin.
5 - Sprinkle sliced almonds on top of cake mix.

6 - Add 3 pats of butter on top of almonds.
7 - Cover ramekins with parchment paper that has a few holes poked in it.
8 - Set air fryer to 325 degrees for 15 minutes.

9 - After 5 minutes of cooking, take parchment paper out of air fryer. Continue to cook.
10 - After 10 minutes, check to make sure butter is completely melted.
11 - Check ramekins frequently during the last 5 minutes of cooking to make sure it is cooking properly.

- Empty 2 cans of cherry pie filling or tart cherries in syrup (drained) into the bottom of a dutch oven or crockpot.

- Cover cake mix with sliced almonds.
- Add pats of butter over the top.
- Bake in oven at 350 for 30 minutes until bubbly, or set crockpot on high for 4 hours.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or almond whipped cream.

Recipe FAQS
Yes, chocolate chips work great in this recipe. You can use either milk or dark chocolate for a different flavor.
Sure, you can bake the ramekins in the oven. An air fryer is basically a small convection oven so they produce the same results. Try baking them in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees and check to see if they need more time.
It's perfectly fine to substitute pecans for almonds in this dish. The nuts make a nice crust for the top of the cobbler, so it's important to include some type of nut for best results.

Expert Tips
- I prefer using tart cherries in syrup because they have a stronger flavor, but pie filling works just fine.
- If you choose to make this recipe in a dutch oven or crockpot, use two cans of pie filling for best results.
- The best thing about making it in your air fryer is that it only takes a few minutes to dig in to that ooey, gooey chocolate center!

How to Make Almond Whipped Cream
- 16 ounce carton heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar
Beat heavy cream with a mixer until stiff peaks form. Stir in almond extract and powdered sugar. Place in a piping bag or add a dollop of whipped cream on top of cobbler.
