Any recommendations for hotel lodging where you can easily get around on foot? Would love to stay somewhere easy to walk to some of the great eating places that you mentioned.

  Hi Debby...yes! Some of the best rooftop views in Asheville are on top of the best hotels that are within walking distance to everything. My favorites are Aloft, AC Hotel, Cambria and Hyatt Place. They are in the middle of all of the downtown action! 🙂
