Cranberry Turkey Sliders are the best way to use Thanksgiving leftovers the next day! Simply layer leftover turkey, cheese and cranberry sauce on sweet Hawaiian rolls, then bake with poppyseed butter drizzled on top. Oh, so good!
STEP 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice the sheet of slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the individual buns connected if possible. Place the bottom half of the slider buns in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish that has been prepped with cooking spray. Add the turkey evenly over the bottom half of the slider buns.
STEP 2: Layer the provolone cheese slices on top of the turkey.
STEP 3: Spread a layer of tart cranberry sauce over the cheese.
STEP 4: Place the top half of the rolls over the cranberry sauce. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. Brush the butter mixture over the entire slab of rolls, making sure to coat each one.
STEP 5: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
Notes
STORING: If you have leftover sliders, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
REHEATING: Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
FREEZING: I don't recommend freezing this recipe unless you freeze the components separately.
