Ingredients
PESTO PASTA
8
oz.
penne pasta
boiled and drained

cups
whole milk
4
oz.
cream cheese
¼
cup
basil pesto
½
cup
parmesan cheese
shredded
dash of garlic salt
dash of pepper
STIR INS (optional)

sun-dried tomatoes
½
cup
cocktail tomatoes
sliced

cup
grilled chicken
diced
¼
cup
basil leaves
chopped

cup
fresh vegetables such as spinach or broccoli
¼
cup
marinated artichokes
drained
Instructions
Bring penne to a boil for 5 minutes. Drain and keep warm.
Pour milk into a skillet and slowly bring it up to medium heat.
Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
Add pesto and parmesan, stirring constantly until sauce is thickened.
Season sauce with garlic salt and pepper.
Add drained pasta to the skillet, stirring well over medium low heat until pasta is tender.
Stir in optional ingredients if desired.
Garnish with extra parmesan cheese.
Notes
Save the water from the pasta to thin the sauce if it becomes too thick.
Add more milk if you like it extra creamy.
