Deviled Eggs

EASY RECIPE!

This Southern Deviled Eggs Recipe is loaded with flavor from fresh dill, sweet onion and a dash of hot sauce.

INGREDIENTS

large eggs – light cream cheese – mayonnaise – yellow mustard – spicy brown mustard – fresh dill – sweet onion – garlic salt – black pepper – hot sauce

STEP ONE

Add eggs to a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a rolling boil .Turn off heat and cover pot. Let eggs sit in hot water for 12 to 15 minutes.

STEP TWO

Transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water. Let sit in ice water for 10 minutes.

STEP THREE

Peel eggs under running water and discard shells. Slice in half lengthwise.

STEP THREE

Pop out the yolks and place them on a small plate. Mash yolks with a fork until crumbly.

STEP FOUR

In a medium mixing bowl, beat a package of light cream cheese until creamy, add mayo, two kinds of mustard, and minced onions.

STEP FIVE

Add yolks to the mixing bowl with garlic salt and black pepper. Add fresh dill. Add hot sauce for spice, or substitute vinegar for tang.

STEP SIX

Mix everything together until creamy. Pipe yolk mixture into the egg whites and you're done!
