Pot Roast

EASY RECIPE!

Guinness Pot Roast is loaded with flavor from the rich taste of Guinness beer, fresh rosemary, vegetables and bold spices.

INGREDIENTS

chuck roast - seasoning onion - beef broth Guinness beer - rosemary tomato paste - carrots cabbage - garlic - bay leaf

STEP ONE

Add olive oil to a large dutch oven on top of the stove.Sprinkle roast with steak seasoning or your favorite dry rub recipe.

STEP TWO

Sear roast in the bottom of the pot over medium-high heat on all sides.

STEP THREE

Add onion and beef stock. Add tomato paste.

STEP FOUR

Add a bottle of Guinness dark beer to the dutch oven and stir everything together.

STEP FIVE

Close the lid tightly and bake in a dutch oven at 325ºF for 3 hours. Check half way through cooking process to add more broth.

STEP SIX

After 3 hours, add carrots, rosemary and red cabbage to the pot. Cover and bake in oven for 1 more hour
