EASY RECIPE!

Southern Collard Greens with Bacon is a delicious side dish that’s loaded with smoky bacon flavor.

INGREDIENTS

bacon -- butter - onion shredded collard greens chicken broth - garlic salt - pepper - vinegar hot sauce (optional)

STEP ONE

Cook bacon slices in a large pot and set aside. Leave bacon grease in the pot.

STEP TWO

Add butter, onions and pre-shredded collards to the pot. Stir until wilted.

STEP THREE

Add chicken stock, garlic, salt, pepper and bacon. Cover and cook 1 hour until tender.

STEP FOUR

Serve with malt vinegar and hot sauce if desired! The flavor is hard to beat!
