Covered Strawberries

EASY RECIPE!

Chocolate Covered Berries are one of the most delicious treats on earth. The combo of chocolate with fresh berries is so good!

INGREDIENTS

fresh strawberries - semi sweet chocolate chips - white chocolate chips - coconut oil - crushed pecans (optional)

STEP ONE

Start by melting chocolate with coconut oil in 30 second intervals in the microwave.

STEP TWO

Hold each strawberry by its green cap and swirl it into a bowl of melted dark chocolate.

STEP THREE

Use a spoon to help cover the strawberry, leaving a half inch from the top of the cap.

STEP FOUR

Place the chocolate dipped strawberry on a sheet pan lined with wax paper to harden.

STEP FIVE

To decorate strawberries, swirl white chocolate on top with a fork or tip of a spoon.

STEP SIX

For the pecan dipped variety, dip strawberries half way into crushed pecans immediately after dipping into dark chocolate.
