Beef Tenderloin

EASY RECIPE!

Roasting a whole beef tenderloin in a cast iron skillet is the best way to make tender and juicy beef that melts in your mouth!

INGREDIENTS

whole beef tenderloin sea salt dried thyme garlic powder olive oil

STEP ONE

Trim the roast by cutting off the silver skin underneath and discarding extra fat.

STEP TWO

Pat the roast dry with paper towels to get rid of extra moisture.

STEP THREE

Sprinkle roast with dry thyme, sea salt and garlic powder. Drizzle with olive oil in cast iron skillet.

STEP FOUR

Roast beef tenderloin at 475ºF for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300ºF until it reaches 140ºF with a thermometer.

STEP FIVE

Allow roast to rest for 10 minutes. Slice into 1 inch thick slices and serve with horseradish-thyme sauce.
