Bacon and Cheese Turnovers
are stuffed with crispy bacon, jam and cheese, then wrapped in puff pastry!

Place strips of bacon on a sheet pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes until crispy.
Transfer bacon to a wire rack and cool while making pastries.
Cut pastry roll into 12 rectangles. Spread each rectangle with cream cheese.
Spread a teaspoon of jam or pepper jelly onto cream cheese.
Add bacon strips on top of cream cheese. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of bacon.
Close pastries by wrapping one end over the other. Brush with egg wash.
Sprinkle puff pastry with dried poppy seeds or bagel seasoning.
Bake bacon and cheese turnovers at 400ºF for 15 minutes until pastry is golden brown.
